As a mother of four children, ages 16 to 28, I understand firsthand the challenges our youth face as they navigate an increasingly complex world. I have watched them—and their peers—grapple with pressure, uncertainty, and the need for guidance that goes beyond academics. What young people need today is not just information, but inspiration: the tools to see themselves as capable, resilient, and powerful contributors to their communities.

This is why I am raising money for The Torch Foundation. We are creating an impact event designed specifically for high school youth—a transformative experience where they can step away from their daily environments, gain clarity about who they are, and learn how to lead with confidence and integrity. The Torch Foundation is committed to igniting the potential in every young person, helping them break through self-doubt and discover their own vision for the future.
